Windows 10 How to Enter Safe Mode (Enter Safe Mode Steps)
Overview:
Windows Safe Mode is a special boot mode of Windows operating system.
In the safe mode, the system only loads the most basic drivers and services, which have the following characteristics and functions:
Troubleshooting: Helps to determine whether the system problems are caused by third-party software, driver conflicts, etc. For example, when the system crashes frequently or anomalies occur, you can enter the safe mode to check for software or driver incompatibilities.
Virus removal: Because only the most basic programs are run, it is more conducive to cleaning up viruses and malware.
Driver debugging: Problematic drivers can be debugged, uninstalled, or updated.
System repair: Can repair some key system files.
Special operations: Easy to perform some operations that may not be possible in normal mode, such as deleting certain stubborn files or programs.
Steps to enter safe mode:
Note: There are two ways to enter safe mode, depending on the current fault of the computer. Can boot to the desktop, and cannot boot to the desktop.
The first method (for normal access to the Windows desktop) :
1. Access the Windows 10 desktop, click the Start menu, and then click "Settings".

- 2. Select "Update & Security".

- 3. Click "Recovery" and then "Restart now" under Advanced startup.

- 4. Under Select an option, select "Trobleshoot";

- 5. In Trobleshoot, click Advanced options.

- 6. On the Advanced options screen, click Startup Settings.

- 7. Click the Restart button.

- 8. The computer will restart at this time, and after restarting, you will see the interface as shown in the following picture. Press the "F4" key or the number "4" to select safe mode. Other modes are also selected using this method, and the selection will be directly entered.

- 9. Enter the security mode of Windows10 successfully, as shown in the following figure.

- Second method: (if you cannot access Windows10 desktop)
1. After the system is powered on, hold down the power button for more than three times to shut down the system. After the system is powered on again, the Recovery screen is displayed.

- 2. Under Select an option, select Trobleshoot.

- 3. In Trobleshoot, click Advanced options.

- 4. On the Advanced options screen, click Startup Settings.

- 5. Click the Restart button.

- 6. The computer will restart at this time, and after restarting, you will see the interface as shown in the following picture. Press the "F4" key or the number "4" to select safe mode. Other modes are also selected using this method, and the selection will be directly entered.

- 7. Enter the security mode of Windows10, as shown in the following figure.
